Overview
This course focuses on preparing personnel who install and maintain
Medical Gas systems at health care facilities to take the NITC exam
for certification to the ASSE 6015 standard. This program covers
all of the subjects and requirements found in the ASSE 6015 standard.
Topics covered
are Installer training and certification requirements, system design
& sizing considerations, CGMP documentation for health care
systems, and system commissioning and testing requirements. During
the course, there will also be a review of current and emerging
requirements, for bulk Medical Gas systems, along with other codes
and standards that affect health care facility installations.
Who
Should Attend
This course is for anyone involved in bulk medical gas
system installation and maintenance, 3rd party certifiers who
provide testing and certification of bulk medical gas systems, medical
gas sales personnel, operation managers, cryogenic service managers,
hospital facility managers, Quality Control Unit (QCU) personnel,
and internal quality auditors.
The subjects
covered are applicable to all central supply medical gas systems
using bulk cryogenic liquid vessels, portable cryogenic liquid cylinders,
and high-pressure cylinders.
